Investigating IT usage behavior

Dear Sir or Madam,

thanks for your interest in this survey. As part of a research project, we aim to investigate the IT usage behavior.

In this survey, you will be asked about your perception or assessment towards IT. In the following, "IT" includes all software and hardware that you use at work (e.g. laptop, smartphone, e-mail, SAP, ... ).

It takes around ten minutes to complete the survey. At the end of the survey, you will receive a code which you need to copy and paste into the text box in MTurk. The code is only displayed if you pass the attention and screening questions, so we do not need to decline your work and your rate of successful hits stays high. The survey is anonymized and will only be used for scientific work.

The record of your survey responses does not contain any identifying information about you, unless a specific survey question explicitly asked for it.

If you used an identifying access code to access this survey, please rest assured that this code will not be stored together with your responses. It is managed in a separate database and will only be updated to indicate whether you did (or did not) complete this survey. There is no way of matching identification access codes with survey responses.
